Disorienta Company
Donata D’urso asked me to compose a music for her beautiful project E-MA.
The whole concept is based on the void between objects or actions. The result is a music that like clouds or fog fill the space and stay. Rare mouvements breaks the stillness of the sound.
MA: “the distance that naturally exists between two or more objects placed one after the other; the interval, space or void between two elements, or even successive actions. To perceive something invisible is the very essence of Japanese art. In painting, attention has been focused on edges more than on form, in music on silence more than on notes, and in dance on stillness more than movement. All this is expressed by a single term: ma 間. “
