All for one and one for the money

Live stream without limits.

I composed an electronic score for a new project of Ballet Of Difference, the amazing company lead buy Richard Siegal.

The music it’s kind of melancholic suite.

We go through a journey that starts with some very easy harmonies , then it develops in a melodic slow section , followed by a kind of foggy atmosphere with a pulse underneath , leading us towards a big rhythmical section and a coda.

In this show, many things are possible – and nothing is certain. ALL FOR ONE AND ONE FOR THE MONEY does not guide audiences through the one scripted live stream. The participants are supposed to explore the virtual sphere of the production themselves and can choose between simultaneous performances. The virtuoso dancers of Ballet of Difference move their bodies on the threshold between virtual and analogue reality. They re-enact the great moments of Youtube and subvert the logic of an omnipresent techno-capitalism. Alternatively, you can switch to the actors sitting in front of webcams. They are playing online games, engage in debates with the audience about post-truth society or make a final confession to their followers.For additional artistic support, Siegal has brought on board long-standing collaboration partners. The „winning team“ consists of the futuristic fashion designer Flora Miranda, the light and video designer Matthias Singer, who has created spectacular spaces for NEW OCEAN and OVAL (Berlin State Ballet), and the musician Lorenzo Bianchi Hoesch, who has composed a touching electronic soundtrack especially for this piece.

Richard Siegal / Ballet of Difference and Schauspiel Köln hope for and look forward to active participants. They would like to encourage audiences to make use of the anonymity of the internet, to overcome inhibitions and to influence the course of the performance. By means of live chats and gaming, ALL FOR ONE AND ONE FOR THE MONEY wants look into cyber-capitalism from new and unexpected perspectives: a reflection on community and identities, idealistic and monetary values in virtual space, human relationships in social media and, ultimately, the digital loneliness of our time.
